Gary Braden Obituary

BRADEN, GARY LEE, 75, of Louisville, passed away on October 27, 2013.

Gary was an Air Force veteran and a member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was an avid fisherman.

Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Braden; mother, Bessie Braden; and brother, Don Braden.

Gary is survived by his sons, Jeff Braden (Kim), Darrell Braden (Aundrea), and Kevin Braden (Sarah); grandchildren, Chad Clark and Cody, Amanda and Grace Braden; one great-granddaughter, Ava Braden; sister-in-law, Betty Braden; and three nieces and their spouses and children.

A funeral service to honor the life of Gary will be held at 2 p.m. October 31, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family strongly expresses that memorial donations to be directed the Shawnee Masonic Lodge or Cancer Research of Louisville.

Dad I have no words for the empty hole my heart has since you have passed on. You are the strongest hardest working man I've ever met if I become half the man you were ill be doing just fine! I hope in some way I made you proud I have some comfort knowing you are back with mom uncle Don and Granma!
