To the Brown family:
In 1968 I was an Ensign at NASNY. I was the Assistant Public Works Officer to Cmdr. Brown.. I was his only junior officer at the time (I was short toured out to go to Viet Nam). Mrs. Brown may not remember me, but I did have dinner at you apartment one evening.
Senior officers have a great hand in developing the junior officers. I feel that his leadership went a long way in structuring me to become a useful, productive Naval Officer.
God Bless. You have my condolences.
