Anna (Lianeri) Liakakos
of Dracut, MA; 84
DRACUT -- Anna (Lianeri) Liakakos, 84, died Friday evening, September 20th at Northwood Rehab and Healthcare Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Vasilios F. Liakakos who predeceased her in 2012. They shared 55 years of marriage together.
Anna was born in Greece on May 2, 1929. She was the daughter of the late George Lianeri and Roula (Mastacouris) Lianeri. She received her education in Greece before immigrating here in the mid 1950's.
Prior to her retirement, Anna was employed at Jamppa Manufacturing in Lowell as a stitcher for many years.
She was a member of the Panlaconian Society and attended Holy Trinity Hellenic Greek Orthodox Church. Anna was extremely proud of her home and loved and cherished her time that she spent with her family. She was also an avid gardener, tending to her plants and flowers.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her son Frank Liakakos of Lowell, her daughter, Naly Papoulias and her husband Andreas of Dracut, her 3 grandsons, George, Bill and Christopher Papoulias, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Demetri Lianeri and Constantinos Lianeri and her sister Matina Mbourelakou.
LIAKAKOS -- At the request of her family all services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's name to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis Street, Lowell, MA 01854. Arrangements under the care of DRACUT FUNERAL HOME.
