We are at a loss of words to express our compassion to you all. We knew Cindy through Kyla. She was so loved and adored. She had a wonderful soul. May she rest in peace. Love from Iowa.

After Judy left for work this morning, I reread the emails about Cindie and my thoughts were filled with memories of her with her family. As a powerful sadness came over me I wandered into our bedroom and was drawn to a west facing window, Sadie one of our golden retrievers sat at my feet. The sky was reflecting the dawning of a clear cold morning. There low on the horizon a full moon was shining down through a few thin streaky clouds onto the rolling Iowa hills covered with deep and drifted icy snow. That pastoral scene formed the thought in my mind – “Cindie would have framed and captured that scene with her camera and froze it for all of us to enjoy!” And as I watched for a few minutes the moon slide behind a thin dark line of cloud and reemerged, it looked for all the world as if God had blinked away a tear in sorrow at our loss of Cindie.

Dear Brian,
I just heard via phone call about Cindies tragic accident. Jimmy and I send you, the boys, and your family, our deepest sympathy. May all the beautiful memories guide you through this difficult time. There are no words to truly express our thoughts other than we will be thnking of you all. Love and hugs,

Brian,

Words cannot express. My sympathy goes to you and your sons at this time. While all deaths are tragic, Cindie's is doubly so - being so vital, being taken so early and leaving a family so young. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Dearest Brian and kids:
I was out of the country when the accident happened, and I am really saddened to hear about Cindy. I know how much you loved her and I tried to keep up with Brian on what everyone was doing. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Very sorry for your loss

To the family of Cindie Holub,

My heartfelt sympathy of the untimely death of your wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend. One never knows why God chooses the time we leave this world. Maybe Cindie has a task elsewhere that God means for her to do. It goes without saying how deeply you will all feel the loss of her in your lives but I hope your memories of her and how she touched your life will sustain you during your grief. She was loved and she will be missed by all who knew her. My prayers are with you and your family at this time of great loss.
