I met Dottie when she worked as an advocate at NB Women's Center & I was on the Board. When she spoke, you knew that she was sure of her purpose in life. Her daughter Angie was and still is a close friend of my son, Stephen. I was a neighbor of Elias (her brother) & admired her older sister Angie. It is a small world the way our families members are linked. But everyone that knew Dottie will forever be linked to her because she loved all from deep within her heart. We felt this love and that makes us blessed and thankful to have had her in our lives. Dottie Peace Be With You & Yours.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news about Dottie. I worked with her many times on criminal cases and was always impressed by her devotion to helping victims of serious crimes and their families. I enjoyed her friendship and she will be missed. A very classy woman indeed. I will pray for her.

I am so very sad to learn about Dottie. She was a fearless champion for victims and a compassionate, gentle spirit. We worked together for many years in New Bedford and stayed in touch after we both moved to other places. I will always think of her caring spirit and the many people she helped to find safety. My thoughts and sympathy go out to all of you.
