I just found out about your dad. Both of your parents were wonderful people. As a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, I have many wonderful memories. Your dad always made us laugh. I have a wonderful picture of my husband Paul (who recently passed away, 12/15/2012) sitting on your dad's lap. They were dressed as girls. If you would like me to scan this picture (if you have email) I would be happy to do so. My email address is lbcpgc@gmail.com. I am so sorry for your loss and I'm sure you have wonderful memories and perhaps in heaven he is making others laugh. Linda Carlson

My condolences to the family of Edward A. Mason. I met Ed at the Assemblies of God in Burlington MA. many years ago. I would say Ed was a mans man. As and Iron Worker he built bridges for us to cross. As a mans man and a man who loved God and those around him, he built relational bridges that allowed men to know and love God and one another. His laugh always made me smile. His wisdom came from a life full of God's word. He led a men's group at church that was call Bridge Builders. He would show up wearing his blue work clothes on and tell us life stories and how bridges work. Ed was an inspiration to me. I always tell folks about this great man I knew and will always do my best to retell his stories. Ed was a man after God's own heart. He was a good friend. I will miss you Ed.

In life you gave so much to others. Today was a day for all of us that miss you to remember you & celebrate your life. We celebrated that you have gone home to be with The Father & your loving wife. Your service was a true reflection of you & your love for Christ. I will never forget you or the generous things you did for me.

Valerie I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your brother. You often spoke of your dad and of his dedication to others. He is now at peace with your mom.

When I was young you were my uncle. As I grew older you became much more, you were my friend and my confidante. We spent many hours on the phone and your words always meant so much to me. Your compassion and fellowship has led me through some rough times. You will be missed dearly.
I will not be able to say good bye to you in person. But you and your family will be in my prayers.
You will always be remembered and loved in my heart.

Mr Mason was a wonderful man. I often enjoyed his visits with me at HVMA. He always asked about my family and we enjoyed many laughs together.

Ed Mason came to our shop often with drawings and plans for us to make steel for him. He was always working on a number of projects at the same time. Our workers would do anything that he asked, often moving his projects ahead of others. From all of us at Scannell, Lowell Iron and Steel Co. condolences to the entire family..Dennis Scannell President
