dear family, i was honored to have George and Phyllis as friends. I saw them most days at Forge Beach , where every day George would have a wonderful story to tell, and Phyllis would sit and enjoy the warmth of the sun. They were an inspirational couple both in their marriage and their generosity to the community .We are bereft.Bill and Mardie Melchin

Dear Family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of George and his beloved Phyllis. They were the loving "mother and father" to thousands of Westford Academy students over many years. Our loving thoughts will always remain with George and Phyllis.

So sorry to hear of George's passing, but honored to have met him and his wife some five years ago. Since then I have heard nothing but excellent stories about their life together-true models to live by. Both Geroge and Phyllis will be missed dearly.

This is so sad. I only knew Mr.Seddon from Market Basket but he was always someone I looked forward to seeing. He was a gracious and kind human being. He always had something nice to say in a time when there wasn't a whole lot of nice going on. He was a TRUE gentlemen and will be missed for a very long time. I wish his family peace.
