I'm so sorry. I didn't know. My sincere sympathy.
Really sad to hear this and quite shocked. Bucky was such a great guy. Heartfelt sympathies to Aaron as well and family. I also was one of his classmates in 1977 at BHMS. I will always remember the soccer games at Billerica High. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.
My thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family during this sad and tragic time..He was a kind and caring man who loved his job as a teacher
...a "top-shelf" kind of guy. He was, always, concerned about the sailors he took care of @ Medical.
Paul was a friend to anyone who ever served in the US Navy. He was all about service above self. I have fond memories of him "training me" as a young lieutenant and I was nominally his boss! As our squadron's corpsman, he once came to my house to check on my toddler son who had a fever. Paul was a great friend and an even better Sailor. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
Paul, thanks for always being there for me. Thankful and blessed to have known you and have so many memories. Will miss you dearly my friend. Love, Karen
You will be missed my friend
Aaron, sending our deepest sympathies to you and all of your family. Bucky is gone way too young.
Another light extinguished much too early. Paul, you were a kind, caring friend and a loyal co-worker. May your light shine brightly in heaven.
My prayers are with your family.
Bucky and Aaron where always my other brothers, I have Kenny, thank god, and then I was blessed to have you and Aaron in my life as well. You meant the world to me and you always will. I know that your up there hanging out with Mom and i know that you can take care of each other. You will be missed by so many people who have always loved you!
You left us 30 years too early. But you left us with great memories. RIP my friend.
As one of Bucky"s fellow high school classmates, I will always remember his upbeat & carefree attitude. RIP Bucky
May you rest in peace Paul..
I have many memories of Bucky, Jim Parolin and the rest of the gang. He will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear the sad news. Paul was such a wonderful person and an amazing teacher. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
There will never be enough room on these pages to tell of the many wonderful memories I and many others have of Paul. I had the luxury of being stationed with him at the Clinic in S. Weymouth for 6 years. Never was there a man who would do more for anyone than Paul. My greatest friend and shipmate I had there. His fun and humor are matched by none.
Paul was the best Corpsman I ever knew. Always upbeat and caring, he never let bureaucracy get in the way of helping his squadron mates. He was an awesome sailor and a great friend. Carl Mayabb (former VP-92 Officer in Charge)
Aaron and Grace - I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Bucky was such a great friend to so many people and was well loved. I have many fond memories and funny stories about him like the day he tripped me, yes on purpose, and dragged me down the hallway at school...he was such a prankster and I smile every time I think of him and his antics! My most favorite memory is the day of senior prom he showed up at my house to see me...we weren't prom dates, but that's the kind of dear friend he was. We took pictures together that I still have and will always cherish. He looked so handsome in the blue tux with ruffled shirt! I'm sure he will be watching over you and all his friends until we get to see him again in heaven. Love to you both.
My Deepest sympathies to Paul's family and the friends he has left behind. I got reaqauinted with Paul during a Medical Assisting course on '03, had been in the same Class of '77. Took me a bit to figure out this was "Bucky"...small world. Thank you for serving our country and being such a caring man. Rest in Peace. Faith in Christ and Easter is what gives us hope in seeing you again! May God continue to provide comfort to your loved ones.

I served with Paul in VP-92 for many years. He was a nice guy and a great HM.
Paul was a great patriot and shipmate, and a very dear friend. He took great care of all of us. I was privileged to serve with him. Joe Gladden former Minutemen Skipper
Bucky was one of my best friends all 4 years of high school. I'll never forget the times Bucky, Mike Mitchel, Don Ripatoe and I had in high school. We were team mates for 4 years on the Billerica High soccer team. Bucky was one of the main reasons why we were one of the best teams in the state. Bucky was a great friend and a lot of fun. He will be missed.
May you Rest in peace Paul. You were a great man always made me smile.. Your now a angel who I know will still make us all laugh at times

Paul, You were the best Sailor and Corpsman VP92 could ever have. You were compassionate and caring, but always professional, especially during the water survival training. Fair well Shipmate.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bucky's Family at this time.
Some of my fondest memories involved Bucky. We had a great time hanging out and working together at Kelley's. May God Welcome him in Heaven. My deepest sympathies to his family.
Way too young. Paul was a great help to many of us at South Weymouth and we had kept in touch over the years.
