So sorry to hear about the passing of Mickey. I volunteer at SARL on Saturday morning and Mickey would come in to walk the dogs. He was a great man and will be missed. Thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends.
This has been a sad week for Chelmsford. Steve Coraccio, Howie Neild, and now Mickey. Although our paths haven't crossed since the 60's, I still have fond memories of meeting Sharon, then her neighbor and brother. Where have the years gone?... My sympathy to all of you.

I met Mickey at SARL. He was always helping with the animals and chatting it up. He will be missed by all. Thoughts and prayers for the family.
Heartfelt sympathies. Words are inadequate but please take some comfort in your good memories and in the knowledge that so many people are sending your family their love and prayers to soothe you in your time of loss.
My heart is broken for Auntie Anita, Donna and my cousins. Mickey was such a gentleman, wonderful husband, son, brother and the world's finest Irish cousin. He was just a sweetheart.
Love and God Bless,
Kate (Kathy Winn) Laferriere and Family
I will always remember Mickey for his dedication and countless volunteer hours at the Salem Animal Rescue League. He was always cordial and nice to everyone he met! He spent time with both dogs and cats. Last summer his sister and mother had discovered a litter of kittens that a feral mom cat they'd been feeding, Mickey asked SARL if we could take them in and of course we did! We named the kittens after his family (brothers and sisters). The family also generously donated money to the shelter to help with veterinary care for mom cat and her babies! I also had multiple conversations with him about a stray shy male cat he'd been feeding and making friends with. He was just an all around good guy!! He will be greatly missed. Sending love and prayers to his family!
