I am very saddened to see this. Rita was my father's cousin and essentially an aunt to me and my brothers. Her mother, my great aunt Mary, was lovingly treated and cared for by Frank and Rita. He truly provided Mary with care and comfort for many years and their mutual respect was obvious. She lived to be 108 and I doubt that would have been the case without his and Rita's care. He was very kind to her and they would rib each other good naturedly. Rita and Frank were the first people I recall who didn't speak down to us like we were kids. Frank took us out to see his monster tow trucks and did work his seventies that would knock over someone half his age. My parents saw him about a year ago but that was their last contact. I know they will be saddened to hear about his passing. I regret having not visited. I am unsure if you are local but if so, it would be good to connect if you feel that appropriate. I am very sorry for your loss.
