It was a month yesterday, and I still cannot believe you're gone. You've ALWAYS been in my life one way or another...a force to be reckoned with. I suppose you're still in my life now. I have you tucked safely away in a corner of my heart and mind, the corner reserved for a little girl's Mummy. I often reach for the phone to call you to say hello and check on you - and then I remember that you're gone, and I experience it all over and again...

JOSSELYN MAY YOU REST IN PEACE

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.
