Tina, Lisa, Susan, Usha - Your Mom will always hold a special place in my memories: Tante Lilo Cookies, German Juice, Bingo, Pull Tabs, telling stories and the only adult to join the kids in the ocean at the beach! I wish we would have gotten to the beach one more time but I'm so happy that we re-connected over the last few months. She was so happy to learn that I live close to the beach now and I went down yesterday and had her in my thoughts. In our visits she told me stories about meeting Ziggy and coming to America, her job at Honeywell and how seriously she took her job and how she would get picked on by those she upset with her thourough inspections.
I'm so happy she and Ziggy have been reuinted and I can just picture a younger version of the two of them dancing the night away. She will be missed and she will live on in our memories. I asked Cathi the other day if she's gotten any Tante Lilo Cookies yet :)
