Dear Helen and McLean family -- I was saddened to just learn of Jim's passing -- Jim was my friend and I will never forget the laughter he used to bring into my life . May God rest his soul-- He will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers always. I wish I would have found out sooner . He was a special person .

Jim was always one of my favorite people at the Rouse Company. When he was running Faneuil Hall in Boston I was running South Street Seaport in NYC. He was always a tremendous help and just a good friend. We always had a lots of laugh's and I will miss him very much, My best to Helen and all the 'Friars'. I told Jim to send all his kids to St. Joe's (Hawks) but he wouldn't listen...

Dear Helen, I just learned of Jim's passing from the Rotary Email newsletter. Although I left Quincy/the Y a few years ago, I keep somewhat in the loop by continuing to read it. Jim was such a wonderful man. I so admired his love of family and community. His laugh always made any room he was in light up! My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. God bless.
