Peter Saab Joseph

LOWELL -- Peter Saab Joseph, 86, of Lowell, died Monday, October 1, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer. He was a son of the late Joseph and the late Lottie (Karam) Saab.
Born March 22, 1926, in Lowell, he attended the local schools graduating from Lowell High School, and went on to attend Commercial College, majoring in Accounting.
He made his home in the Highlands Section of the City and was a communicant of St. Margaret Church. He was also a Charter Member of Veterans' of Foreign Wars Post 662, Walker Rogers. He enjoyed taking long walks and spending time at Rye Beach, New Hampshire and Pompano Beach, Florida.
Peter worked as the accountant and keeper of the records for Saab Realty for over 50 years. He also worked at Fort Devens as an accountant for approximately eight years.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas J. Saab and his wife, Mary E., of Lowell, and his sister, Rita Dunlap of Nashua, NH; his nephew, Karam J. Saab of Denver, CO; his nieces, Patricia Pashler and her husband, Peter, of DesMoines, IA, Judith Waligora and her husband, Peter of Laconia, NH, and Teri Parker and her husband, David of New Boston, NH; grandnieces, Amy Waligora, Tracy Cox, and Loni Kustron, and grandnephews, Christopher Pashler, Bryce Pashler and Harley Parker; and the many associates and friends he made throughout his lifetime.
He was also a brother of the late John S. Joseph, the late Joseph K. Saab, and the late Louis M. Saab.
