Irene M. McMeniman

great-grandmother
LOWELL -- Irene M. (Beaulieu) McMeniman, 93, of Lowell, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at D'Youville Senior Care along with the VNA Hospice Care of Lowell. She was the wife of the late Paul J. McMeniman, who died December 1, 1985.
Born in Three Rivers, P.Q., Canada on May 7, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Bernadette (Sevigny) Beaulieu.
For many years Irene worked for Honeywell Company in Lawrence until her retirement in May of 1981.
Mrs. McMeniman was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church and held membership in the Legion of Mary Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Gerald J. and Jeannette McMeniman of Dracut and Daniel J. and Brenda (Liz) McMeniman of Lowell; a stepson and his wife, Paul J. and Maureen McMeniman of Lowell; five grandsons and their spouses, Kenneth and Pamela McMeniman, Scott and Jennifer McMeniman and Kevin and Gina McMeniman, all of Dracut, Doug Gagnon of Pelham, NH and Jeff Gagnon of Dracut; eight great- grandchildren, Hayley, Erin, Sean, Chloe, Emily and Megan McMeniman, Doug Gagnon, Jr. and Dakota Gagnon; four step grandchildren and their spouses, Colleen and Doug Dugas of Chelmsford, Todd and Lucie McMeniman of Nottingham, NH, Greg and Sheila McMeniman of N. Chelmsford and Amy McMeniman of Lowell; five step great-grandchildren, Kate and Meg Dugas, Ellie, Katherine and Finn McMeniman; also several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gabrielle (Gay) Lafond, Jeanne (Joan) Beaulieu, Marie Whittier and George Beaulieu.
Irene's family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. David Pickul and his staff, the nurses and staff at the D'Youville Senior Care and the VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell.
McMENIMAN -- Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 AM in St. Michael Church. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. My heart goes out to the familys of Irene......I was working for honeywell,cables dept..lowell and lawrence..Irene and her sister was life of a party ..good people...Irene was a gentle woman with a good heart...she will be miss..
