Thinking about you all day today [Wed the 10th] dear lady...and now tomorrow the 11th marks that unfavorable day where we said goodbye and the glorious day where you entered eternal life. I know the latter is better than the former, but for those of us stuck here ;-) the former kinda sucks!

Missing you. Pray for us; pray for this country and this world.

Love to the family if any of you read this -

To the Cherry family,

I just saw the news about Karen in the CBU alumni magazine. I am so sad over this, and regret that I just heard about her passing.

Karen and I were roommates our freshman year in college. We were randomly assigned, and I couldn't have been more lucky to get to room with her. She was a spunky, happy person with a good head on her shoulders. She had a great sense of humor, and was always the voice of reason in my ear. She had some very good friends at CBU and I am so fortunate to count myself as one. I have thought about her many times over the years.

She did indeed make the world a better and brighter place, and I am honored to have been touched by her.

With sympathy ~

Karen was a very important person in my life when my times at home and work were difficult. She always kept me centered and calm, able to deal with everything as it should be handled and not panic. She always seemed to turn the corner to my cubicle at work with a huge smile at all the right times. I did not know she was ill and when I read she had passed away I did panic. Knowing she was here on earth with me when I wanted to call her was a comfort to me. I will never have a day go by, now or forever that I will not think of her. I miss her so much and most of all I loved her friendship. She was, is and always will be the best. "Love you Karen Cherry." Love Kathy Parker

Karen, the graciousness of living your life so full of love and faith is giving me strength as I, too, battle cancer. You are gone from here much too soon. May God grant peace to your family and friends with the knowledge that you made this a better place.

Dear Cherry family,

I am very sorry to learn of your loss.
From our high school days, I can still clearly recall Karen's sense of humor.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wishing God's peace to the Cherry Family. I have great memories of Karen when we were young and part of the old Horsebrook Elementary School "sandlot gang". I know now she is in Heaven with her mom. With Synpathy, Tom

The first day Karen walked into my classroom I knew she was special. She had an amazing work ethic, deep love of God and family, devotion to her friends and a smile and sense of humor that made everyone happy. Just knowing Karen made us all better people. Karen and her family are in our prayers.

As Karen's fellow adorers at the Adoration Chapel, we want to express our deepest condolences for you loss. We are forever grateful for Karen's faithfulness in worshiping our Lord with us at the Chapel. Through all the hours she gazed on Him in the Holy Eucharist, she now can immerse herself in the unobstructed gaze of his love as she beholds Him face to face. We miss you Karen. Please pray for us.
