Don was one of Darrell's favorite cousins and often referred to as "Brother". He and Big Don had many adventures together during their youth in Dallas and at Granny's.Even after they were both home-bound Don continued to email Darrell with pictures of his truck he tinkered with. I am sure they are in heaven together with big smiles.

I did not get to see my cousin Don much over the last few years. When I was growing up in Dallas, Don lived in our home for a time while learning the mechanic trade from my dad and brother. Big Don, my brother Darrell, and our Dad would cut up, laugh, joke, and pick on each other all the time. It was so much fun to have him around! Don just lit up a room when he'd come into it. He had that big smile and always had that twinkle in his eye. During the last few years, we stayed in touch thru social media where Don loved to share jokes and to express his deep love for our country! I will miss him terribly and my deepest condolences to Bobbi and our entire family!

Glad I got to see him last year in May at the Big Spring High School Band Reunion (Classes '67-72). He has always been so much fun to be around. His performance as Chiquita Banana, in Campus Review, will live forever.

Big Don, we will miss him! I know that he is with my dad, his uncle Doyle, and my brother, Darrell, telling jokes and sharing stories, I can't imagine him any other way. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love your cousins, Sandy, Roger, Wesley & Grace.
