Donald Wayne Coleman, Sr. LEVELLAND- Donald Wayne Coleman, Sr., 66, of Levelland passed away on March 29, 2013 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church with burial to follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery, with Rev Robert Burns and Rev. Dale Bostic officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at George Price Funeral Home. Donald was born on April 18, 1946 in Levelland to David and Zora Coleman. He graduated from South Plains College and was a member of the First Assembly of God of Levelland and a member of the VFW of Lubbock. He retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer of the Montford Unit in Lubbock, Texas. Donald married Benna Lindsey on December 23, 1965 in Levelland. He is survived by his wife, Benna; son, Donny Coleman and his wife Regina; daughter, Christy Cribbs and her husband Jerry; two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Maci Coleman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Wylie, A.E. Tiny, Troy, and James Coleman; and two sisters, Louise Gossett and Alice Marie Coleman. Benna we just want to say we are really sorry for your loss. I know it will be hard but we all know Donald is looking down an ya'll letting you know he is in the arms of the Lord. From all the things we know is Donald is walking on those streets of Gold. Just Imagine what he thinks. But one day very soon everyone will be together again. I meet Donald when I was 9 years old we stayed good friends for over 50 years
