Eldon and Ruedele were the first people to welcome us to the neighborhood in North Richland Hills. Eldon was always kind, caring and willing to share any tools he had with us. He was the perfect host at their annual After Christmas Parties. His Christmas spirit could be seen in his beautifully decorated house that all the neighborhood enjoyed. He stayed involved in the community and led the effort to have lights on the U.S. flag that flew in our neighborhood. He was seen frequently when he walked in the neighborhood and was always ready to talk with everyone. Though we have moved from the neighborhood, we will always remember him and the kindness he shared. He will be missed but will always remain in our hearts.

A wonderful, funny man who embraced life and lived it to the fullest. He absolutely loved his family and was an inspiration to me. He will be greatly missed.

Eldon was a favorite cousin of my mother, and he and Ruedelle were some of of her most admired people. My wife and I met these exceptional people later in our lives after they moved to NRH, very near to us.
Ruedelle and Lanese, please accept our sorrow at Eldon's passing. We know he is missed by you and the rest of your family.
I look forward to seeing you after his memorial this Saturday.

My thoughts and prayers are with Eldon's family as they journey on without him, life is so short, but thankfully each family member has a special memory that will always be a wonderful treasure from him, that will live for generations to come

I will always remember Eldon from my interactions with him in the Daedalians. He was upbeat and unflappable, always with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. I regret that I will be unable to attend his memorial on the 14th, but I will carry him in my thoughts on that day and for a long time. His obvious love for Ruedele will be an example for me to remember.

A great friend and wonderful cousin.

Eldon Turner is a role model for many (and a lovable man as well!). He soared (literally and figuratively). And he was well grounded -- so down to earth. He had his priorities in the right order: faith and family first, followed closely behind by career and country. His lovely wife, Ruedele, and his children and grandchildren are left to carry on those high ideals, as I'm sure they will. God bless them!

So many great memories. Much love to you and your family Ruedele.
