Ima Ruth Durham

Ima Ruth Durham LUBBOCK-Ima Ruth Durham passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014. We will gather to celebrate her life of 96 years at 10 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Ima Ruth was born on May 8, 1918, to Thomas and Sena Ramsey Spry in Plaska, Texas. On May 20, 1943, Ima married the love of her life, Paul Durham in Childress, Texas. Survivors include her children, Patricia Ann Peters and husband, Douglas William Earl Durham and wife Anna Sue, Paul Burl Durham and wife Susan, Fred Eugene Durham, and wife Dee, and Denise Gale Durham; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul Howard Durham. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to a charity of choice.
