Slaton- 81, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. Lillion was born to the parentage of Lillian and Naomi Johnson in Paris, Texas on May 20, 1936. He worked as a laborer with the City of Slaton until his retirement. Lillion leaves to cherish his memory; two daughters, Rose Marie Johnson and Denise Adkins (Johnnie); four sisters, Katherine Terry, Laura Johnson, Thelma Cook, and Fannie Johnson; two brothers, Willie Johnson and Wayne Johnson; three grandchildren, Keva Adkins, Johnnie Adkins, III, and Janna Adkins; a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
