Ralls- Madalyn Francis Crump 89 of Ralls passed away January 16, 2018. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday January 19, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Ralls under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held Thursday January 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Madalyn was born on March 18, 1928 in Crosby County to Millard and Ovie Grears Bowers. She married Clyde Crump on January 16, 1948 in Crosby County; they were married for 70 wonderful years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ralls where she taught Sunday school for many years and was on the bereavement committee for many years. Madalyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sorely missed.
Madalyn is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Jay Crump, a granddaughter Jennifer Rowin, and a great grandson Cy Crump.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Crump of Ralls, a daughter Diane Davis and husband Bill of Lubbock, two sons; Don Crump and wife Brenda of Ralls, Dale Crump and wife Lori of Ralls, one brother; Wade Bowers and wife Betty of Mesquite, one sister; Evelyn Stone and husband Jim of Hattiesburg MS, eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to her friends and caregivers Elena Gutierrez, Ester Rojas, and Josie Valasquez.
