She was married for 62 years and is survived by her beloved husband, John A. Seyda. Alice graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1948. They travelled together to Austria, Switzerland, Vienna, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and New Orleans. She also went to Italy, Jerusalem and Israel with her sister, Helen. Alice loved horseraces, with DelMar, California, and Keeneland, Lexington, Kentucky being her favorites. She and John owned a racehorse for five years and attended the Derby Trials in Louisville. She valued precious time with her grandchildren, reading novels, walking, playing video poker and visiting the conservatory, atrium botanical garden and piano bar at the Bellagio.
