CARL CAVANESS Obituary

CARL CAVANESS JR. Carl Duane Cavaness Jr., of North Las Vegas, passed away March 16, 2015, at 11:20 p.m. He was born Sept. 7, 1941. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. and was a retired painter from Union Local 159. Carl is survived by his wife, of 40 years, Antoinette; son, Carl III; four granddaughters; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maryann, Joanie and Betty; and nieces, Nancy, Jennifer and Julie. Per Carl's wishes, no services are scheduled. Please honor his memory with a toast to the good times and not with tears. Those were his wishes to friends and loved ones. Carl will be deeply missed.

ive loved carl and sis since the first day i met them. about 26 years ago. sis and i met at work. we knew right away that it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship! i also learned rather quickly that you dont bother carl when the RAMS are playing. i cried everyday for a month when my best buddies left indiana. i raise my glass and toast to you as i say "thank you carl for being my friend . i'll always love you"

We have know Carl for many many years and had alot of godd times with him. He worked for my father for many years . I know that he will be deeply missed . Sis our thoughts and prayers are with you. Ken and Roberta Hartsock
