CLEM LIEN Obituary

CLEM LIEN Clem Oscar Lien, 84, of Henderson, passed away March 15, 2015. He was born June 10, 1930, in Valentine, Neb., to Theodore and Minnie Lien. He was a cattleman, paratrooper and worked oil rigs. He moved rivers and mountains with bulldozers and dynamite. He was honest, hardworking and true. Clem loved to travel and was fond of Mexico, Alaska and Hawaii. An avid woodworker, he bestowed his treasures to everyone he met. He was active in the American Legion and spent time "exercising" with friends at the Whitney Ranch Rec Center. Clem was preceded in death by daughter, Tracey; previous wife, Carol; and brothers, Ed, Marion and John. He is survived by wife, Barbara; children, Toni, Scott, Annette (Marc), David (Jodi), Pat, Dawn and Greg; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim, Dick, Bill and Betty; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 8:40 a.m., Friday, April 3, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. Flowers are welcome or charitable gifts may be made to The American Legion.
