Definitely a true cowboy and hunter-no one was a stranger! He made you feel as though you had always been his friend. He was one you could always count on and took his church calling to heart and did them well. My fondest memory was he was our door greeter- his hands were those of a working man, but gentle "gentle Grandpa hands". He was a great example to myself and family. May God continue to bless your family and be with you through this time in your lives. I thank Jesus for the atonement to know we will all be a family again.
Our love

Our deepest condolences and best wishes to the family of Glenn R. DeVoge, who served his country in WWII as a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 242nd Infantry Regiment of the 42nd Infantry "Rainbow" Division from training at Camp Gruber, OK through combat and subsequently the occupation in Austria. A life member of the Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation (RDVF), he attended many national reunions of Rainbow Division veterans. His name and unit will be listed in our WWII Memorial File in the January 2016 issue of REVEILLE, the official online newsletter of the RDVF.
