On behalf of the entire Campton family, I want to say thank you for all the beautiful tributes to my husband, Dennis. Some of you I have never met, but your words of love touched me more than I can ever express.
I am truly sad and will miss Dr Campton In 1998 I was fortunate to learn a great deal from him as a new Medical Assistant. He took me under his wing and tought me so many things but mostly to always do what's best for our patients. Everyday I'm thankful for the things he tought me Dr Campton you will always be in my heart
It was in the late 80's that ‘Dr. Denny' and I emotionally connected in a unique way. It was the week of Thanksgiving, and his sister Jeannie, was visiting his sister (and my wife) Florence and me in Wilmette, Illinois. Denny and Helene were in Chicago for a medical convention together with his brother Jim Campton and wife Toni, so Florence invited everyone to our home for Thanksgiving. Being a Chicago architect, I took Denny and Jim on a tour of Wilmette and interesting buildings in the area including the Baha'i Temple. The construction of the building began in 1920. The design was a mixture of many different architectural styles. The construction of the exterior of the building was completed in January 1943 and in 1947, Alfred Shaw, another Chicago architect, was hired to work on the interior detailing of the building. The temple was finally dedicated on May 2, 1953 (33 years after construction started) and in 1978 the House of Worship was added to the National Register of Historic Places. While visiting the temple, Jim, Denny and I viewed a movie of its construction and Dennis was so overcome by the historical significance of the temple that he talked of that day often over the years. It was at this time that Denny, Jim, Jeannie and Florence decided to organize a yearly Campton family gathering in a neutral location. Denny's brother, Kenny, selected Missouri as the place to meet for 2-3 days which we did for a few years. We also spent time together over many other Thanksgiving holidays at his sister Mary's home in Phoenix. Over these years Dennis and I continued to bond and we became quite close during his later life. I loved the man and I know he loved and respected me, as he did everyone he knew. The Hinklin family will miss Dennis, his humor & his love greatly. May he rest in peace forever. Alan and Florence Hinklin
He was a father figure and good friend to us. We love you Dennis
Dr. Campton was the ONLY doctor in Pahrump when I first moved there in 1988. He was truly a caring, educated, sweet and blessed soul. Rest in Peace with the Angels, Dr. Campton.
One of the best he will be missed..

I want to thank one of the greatest men I have known; not only for being my doctor through the years, but someone I trusted and believed in for many years. Seems strange I will never hear: Hey cut up can you help me with something at the clinic? again. You are sorely missed Campy...I know you are giving them hell in heaven. Deana Fromm and Family
Dr. Campton was our family doctor from 1965 to 1974. He was instrumental in my son going in to medicine even though I don't think he knew that. He was a great doctor and a caring man. He will be missed.
Dear Helene and family
It has been a privilege for JoAnn and myself to know Doc and you. I first met Doc back in 1983 when we came to Pahrump. One of my best memories is of him wearing coveralls and taking the time from feeding the animal to see a sick patient on a Sunday at his house/office. We will miss him very much. He was a true gentlemen and a great doctor.
Dr. Campton was the best Dr. in Pahrump. He had a very good bedside manner, something that has been missing for a long time with other Dr's in Pahrump. So sorry to hear of his passing, R.I.P Doc.
there are not words to say how great of man doctor you were so rest in peace
So sad to hear of Dr Camptons passing. He was an amazing doctor and always gave my family such great treatment. He was also wonderful to all of us in the Fire and EMS service in Pahrump. RIP doc.
RIP Dr. Campton. Thank you for all the TLC you gave your patients. Prayers for God to comfort Helene and all of the family.
I'll always cherish dear Dennis called Doctor Cutie Pie by me. He had a heart that broke when he'd see someone in pain, whether it be physical or emotional. He was adored by everyone I knew both personally and professionally. He was a great teacher, wise friend and a beautiful loyal man. Oil am so happy my Arden is with him, they are young, well and playing golf. Love ya Cutie Pie yes I see that twinkle in your eye.
RIP Dr. Campton . Helene Praying for You & Your Family. We will be lighting a Candle for Dennis on the day of the Butterfly Release.
It was a privilege to work with Dr Campton and Helene at Family and Emergency Medicine in Pahrump, and it was an honor to be Dennis' friend all these years. A wonderful doctor and a wonderful friend. He will be missed by so many people that truly love him. Fran De La Cruz, New Mexico
You will be missed terribly but I hope you and dad are up there golfing together.
There will never be another Dr. Dennis, not only was he a wonderful doctor, he was an even more wonderful man with a great sense of humor. My most fun memory was Dennis participating in Nathan Adelson Hospice, Pahrump, Blue Butterfly Coffee House, a really fun fund raiser. Dennis played the part of, of all things, a doctor. The skit was hilarious and he was perfect in the role and enjoyed it thoroughly. I still smile when I remember that skit. God Blessed all of us with Dr. Dennis.
Helene - I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Dennis. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
There will never be another Dr. Campton. They just do not make incredible men like him anymore. For the short time I knew him I feel blessed to have met him. And may his Beautiful wife Helene find comfort in knowing he is in the arms of the angels and the Love they have for each other will last forever . Rest in peace gentle soul.
Dr Campton was so genuine, which is something you don't see any longer. He cared for everyone and never has a bad word to say. He loved medicine, loved to teach his patients and loved to help! He is and always will be a part of our family. We love you doc!! May you rest in peace and watch over us!!
He was one of the best Doctors that I, as a Clark County Fire Dept Paramedic, had the honor of working with. When I was teaching E M Ts He was always there to help. I will miss my good FRIEND. Bill Williams C.C.F.D. ret.
