I have been visiting with Joe over the last 20 years as a development officer at St. Ambrose University, his Alma Mater. In my humble opinion, there was never a finer man than Joe -- a person who lived his life to the full and who took incredibly good care of himself and had a strong devotion to his faith. My fondest memories with Joe were when I would visit him in the DC area and I had the opportunity to attend daily Mass with him at his parish and then was able to join him for a workout at the Pentagon. He also had a wonderful sense of humor that he expressed in a quite manner. I was proud to know him and will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace in the comfort of our Lord's embrace. Take care and God bless, 1st Lt. Borowski. Ed
My condolences to Joe's family – I met Joe February,1963 as a coworker at the Civil Service Commission, and we have been friends to date – I will miss our email exchanges and periodic telephone conversations – Rest in peace my friend
