Dorothy, you have my deepest sympathy,Lary was the best,he will be missed by all,Amie Lombardo
Dear Dorothy,Please accept our deepest sympathies upon our learning of Lary's passing. This is truly a sad day for all of Lary's friends here in Philadelphia.Lary was one of a kind.He was a fiery competitor, a great athlete, and a father to many of us on the City Softball team.Back then he had a huge mustache, and we called him "Yosemite Sam" from cartoon fame.I remember our taking Lary to the Emergency Room with chest pains after a particularly hard fought win.The team was very worried and upset since Lary was in such good condition, and we feared the worst. At the next game Lary appeared ready and expecting to play wearing a heart monitor on his chest ! There was a huge commotion at the field as nobody could prevent him from playing. We were beyond amazed that night. He went 3 for 3 and played 3rd base like nothing ever happened. He was truly 1 in a million. He meant so much to all of us.We will be having a rememberance celebrating Lary's life here in Philadelphia.
Dorothy, just heard (from Gail) of your loss of your beloved partner and friend Lary-my prayers are with you. I remember seeing him at John and Jen's wedding - always a smile on his face and how he loved life. So glad you had the time together:)
Dear Dorothy: You are in my thoughts during this time of loss. I was saddened to find the announcement. Lary was always a kind, sweet gentle soul. I so enjoyed all the travels we spent together exploring the southwest. Many, many fond memories I will keep close and treasure always. He will be missed, never forgotten. We are all better people for having Lary touch our lives. "Rock on Lary, rock on!" Cris Bosselman, Boulder City, Nevada
