I am so sad to know about Alix's passing but had a feeling that she had because she wasn't responding to my emails or phone calls. She and I were great friends at Texas Tech and I visited her in Indiana twicw after she moved back to help her mom. She was an AMAZING woman and I am glad that she is no longer in pain.
