Dear Tara and Michelle,
On behalf of the King Family, Tim, Alden and I, I'd like to extend our condolences on the passing of Carol, your mother. It has been too many years since we've had the fun of getting together at your home in San Marino to enjoy your mother's fabulous dinners and engage in lively political discussions with your father. And those adventurous sailing trips to Catalina. We watched you grow up and know that you are fine reflections of your devoted parents.
Tim passed away two years ago, but I know he'd share the memories,too.
Carol was such a creative, enthusiastic person and I know she wrote diligently to share her thoughts and inspiration with others. I missed our conversations and updates since the move to Henderson, but our lives seemed to fill up with our respective activities. Mine with 4 grandchildren within touching distance.
Yet she looms large in my treasure of memories and I am so sorry to bid adieu as she moves on. What a legacy she leaves for you and her grandsons!
I will think of you as you learn to live without her presense, knowing that she will always be a part of you, now more than ever.
