Dear Gary, I just heard of your loss... and my heart just breaks for you and your family. My prayers are with you and his wife, along with some many others who lives He has touched. Your dad was a very sweet and loving man and will be missed by many. He was always kind to me and a delight to talk to. I miss our friendship too. I was so sorry to hear about Don's passing. He held a special place in my heart for over 40 years. I have fond memories of all the time I spent with Don and the family. I know you will be missed by everyone who knew you. With love an Blessings to all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. At the funeral as the countless mourners were lined up to express their condolences, I couldn't help but notice how many people were expressing their sympathies to you and your families. I will remember you and your families in my prayers.

As District Operations Manager in LA during the late 80's and early 90's....there was one dealer who was truely the best the Ford Dealer and just one heck of a good guy ....Don Ackerman!
They don't make them like Don anymore. It was ways an honor to work with the Ackermans.
