EDLA KEELE

Sending my love to all of you and my prayers of support for all that miss Edla as I do. She was a great friend and mentor to me and she always will be. I know she is just out of sight but ever so near watching over her loved ones. She was and is a phenominal woman. I am thankful to have had the opportunity of being near her.

It is always difficult to lose your mom, no matter your age or theirs. I remember your mother as an intelligent, kind woman, with a FUN, but proper sense of humor! It has been years since I've seen many of you...and yet I feel a bond and love for you. May you all be blessed with what you need today, tomorrow, and in the future as this mortal life moves forward without the matriarch of your family. May the knowledge we share and the precious memories you have - bring you comfort and peace.

My sympathies to the Keele family. Edla was a good friend and mentor to me when i first began teaching in Las Vegas. RIP my friend!

Edla and Mel always added a special spark of excitement to Humphrey family gatherings. They always showed genuine interest in our families, activities and interests. We always felt instantly at ease in their presence. Edla is being welcomed by her parents and siblings with shouts of happiness.

Edla and I carpooled many years ago when we both taught at Nellis Air Force Base (Lomie Heard Elementary). She was always upbeat, positive and cheerful. My condolences to her family.
