Out of curiosity, I Googled Gary, my former brother-in-law just now, and was taken aback by the news that he had passed. We had lost contact since Marilyn and I divorced, but I have often thought of him and the wonderful times he, Cecily, Marilyn, and I had together. The last time Gary and I saw each other was at my house in La Crescenta after he and Antoinette had married.
I've come to realize that life, humanity, and the Universe itself are transient, and the best we can do is love and appreciate each other while enjoying the all too brief journey.

With warmest regards and kind memories.

You were a brilliant man and I was blessed to have the opportunity of an intimate relationship which I will cherish for life. May all your Family and those who loved you find peace in knowing you are free of pain, being cared for by God and smiling at them with gratitude for their love.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved one is something we cannot get use to. The Bible gives us hope that one day we can see our dear loved one again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrender his soul for many. John 15:13 says “No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends.” Truly I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.
