To The Belt Family,
I recently was informed of Jerry's Death
and was deeply saddened. I worked at Muni in the early 1970's in the pro shop cleaning clubs, sweeping and running golf carts. I have fond memories of that job and the opportunity it gave me to play the game of golf. Most of all I remember the time and effort that Jerry gave me
to help develope my game. He always made time for me when I had a problem with my game.Jerry is "without question" a true gentleman and a true professional.
Thank you Jerry- You will be missed
I just learned of Mr. Belt's passing and my thoughts are with his family. In the late 80s, I took golf lessons from Jerry. He gave me an exceptional golf swing that has lasted me through these many years and given me great joy in the game. I am currently living in New Mexico & one of my best golfing buddies was also a student of Jerry's when she was a young girl living in Vegas in the 60s. We often say, "that was one for Jerry" when we hit a good ball. Thank you Jerry and may your new journey be full of "birdies".
I knew Mr. Belt, he was a great father, human being and always a gentleman. He will be missed!
