No longer by my side but forever in my heart

Julie,
I never got to thank you for the warm reception you and Ray gave me. You made me feel very comfortable around you which allowed me the chance to get to know you in a way that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. I'm so sorry for the pain you went through; I wish things could have been different. Even though you were in so much pain at the time, I have wonderful memories of the times we spent together. Sometimes you were funny and sweet and other times your lionness side came out. Your mind always drifting to your children and their welfare. I know you are watching over your loved ones now. You are an awesome lady..they don't make em like you any more. May God bless you and keep you...I love you Julie..

Mom,
I really miss calling and hearing your voice - you always sounded so positive and uplifting every time I called... At first I would wonder how many times you might have been in pain and agony and still sat and listened to all of my complaints of my day or week without saying a word unless I asked or probed on how your were feeling. I still see your face smiling the last time I kissed you goodbye. I knew that night soon you would be gone. You fought so hard to stay with us but it was one last battle you could not fight. It all happened so fast... Now a photo I look at and see your smile and I have all great memories I will keep with me. Grateful for the memories of when I came to you for help or understanding, you would have me read the bible or go to church for comfort. I want to share a verse that comforts me now, Isaiah 66:12 - 13. For this is what The Lord says " I will extend peace to her like a river, to the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dangled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you and you will be comforted over Jerusalem."

Knowing you're in a much better place, Mom, lets me celebrate your life and all you gave and shared. A reading from Psalm 30:5 weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning!

I love you forever in my heart Mom and will think of you always at high noon.
Jeanie.

Thinking of you over this past Mothers day, I wanted to light a candle in your honor. You were wonderfull and beautiful in so many ways. I remember when I was a child and I called you mom. You opened your arms to me that day. I felt the love from you like I was yours. Now you are with god and my mother has come to. Say hello to each other for me. you are in my heart forever.
