MARY RUSSO

Oh, Mary, I will miss you with all my heart. When we met 17 years ago who would have believed such a friendship could have evolved. Through DSLMC we became even more close. You were the spitfire that kept us moving. In my eyes, you were the woman I wanted to be when I grew up. Then came the ravages of Alzheimer's. You acted as if you knew me, but I knew better. I'm glad you were spared the horrific final days and years knowing your mind was being taken from you. Mary's Place is fast becoming a reality. Please look down from Heaven (Your John has already bought you in.) and bless us who loved you and will remember you forever.

Like Barbara Grostick I had the pleasure of working along side Mary as one of my volunteers at the Green Valley location of Senior Friends (H2U). In the five years we worked together I continued to be amazed at her dedication to her work and to our community as a whole. She was a wonderful woman and so glad to have known her. I wish the family my very best and know that her teachings as an individual will carry on through her family.

Mary was a volunteer for Senior Friends in the Green Valley Office during the time I was the office supervisor. Mary was loved by all. My condolences to her family.

I worked with Mary when she volunteered at the National Conference of Christians and Jews in 1994. What a wonderful person she was to work with. Always full of life, happy and willing to help out wherever she could. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to the family. Gail Stivale

I worked with Mary for many years at Western Electric. She was a hard worker and very smart. I enjoyed my interaction with her. I hope she got to enjoy many, many wonderful years in Las Vegas and I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
