In these times I see
The world before me
Ever changing and ever growing
Ever warping and ever evolving
The peace that began
Has since faded away
And only darkness remains
The guilt I carry
And the remorse I hold
Are but building blocks of my own youth
How can I change the way I am
And resolve the guilt I carry?
To say that the world turns
And that time will pass
Are all true and well meaning
But it doesn't help the now
Three times three how can I see
Aught but what I hear feel love and sense
I miss you more than I care to admit
And wish more for what was missed.
I'm sorry Grandma.
