Mom and I miss you so much, Dad. Wish you were here with us. Christmas is just not the same without you. At least we have wonderful memories of all our special Christmas celebrations that we enjoyed over the years, memories that comfort us and keep you close. We love you Dad.

Happy Birthday, Dad. Mom and I are going to celebrate your birthday in your honor by bowling a game or two and trying our hand at your favorite Keno machine. We wish we could all be together again to celebrate your birthday. Every day we think about you and miss you.

I'm thinking back to our wedding day at the Wee Kirk O' the Heather. I got the nervous giggles and couldn't control them; you weren't too happy with me. After dinner we went to the casino. You wanted to play Blackjack. I didn't gamble then so I just watched you play. When the dealer found out we were just married, he ordered champagne for us. Then he moved my stool next to him and told me to put the money in the slot when the players bought chips. Can you imagine that happening in Vegas today? We had so much fun. Wish I could turn back the clock. Happy Birthday Bob. I love you and miss you!

I enjoyed reading more about Bob and seeing all the pictures. I am sorry I never had a chance to know him, but it was my honor to be there at the end of his life. Thank you, Pam, for sending me the note and letting me know about this website so I could learn more about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Mom.
