I love you and I miss you so much. Thank you for being the best grandma you could be. I can't wait to see you again so we can go swimming, play board games, make turkey bacon, barbecue, and much more. I love you grandma.
I am very sad to learn of Susan's passing. She was a good friend, mother, grandmother and educator. I feel very fortunate to have known such a loving person. Her dedication to her family and to her career touched many, and we will miss her very much.
I love you more than anything on earth. I miss you so much. Nighty night sleepy tight see you in heaven someday nice and bright
Dear Stephanie, Matthew, and Jennifer, Bill and I were so very sad to hear of your Mom's passing. Your Mom was exceptional in her love for her family, her welcoming and nurthuring spirit in her friendships and her living testimony for Jesus Christ her Savior. We have so many wondeful memories of our families in Scottsdale, AZ. and doing so many things together. I especially cherish the memory of sitting next to her at BSF and the deep conversations of our faith and our love for our fmailies. I will miss my dear friend. Bill and I extend our deepest sympathy to all your family and pray that God will bless all of you with his tender mercies and blessings as you grieve her loss, knowing she is eternally in the arms of the risen Lord.
With our love,
Marian and Bill

Dear Cathy, Stephanie, Matthew and Jennifer, and Carlene
Knowing your precious daughter, mother and sister was a turning point in one of my life's chapters.
Susan embodied tact and grace. I looked up to her, not just physically, but as a mentor. She revealed a different way of living…one that displayed charm and beauty both in the physical and the emotional.
Susan introduced me to Alieen clothes, the café at Broadways' department store, their Monte Cristo sandwiches, the need for an abundance of shoes and drinking wine in the afternoon.
Still living across the street from your home in Ventura, children, she's continued to be in my mind and heart often throughout the years.
I expect she's reconnecting with Barbara now and the many others who have arrived Home before us. It softens the sting of her sudden departure to know I will again fellowship with her…probably over a glass of wine if scripture is correct. I pray this truth brings you comfort while we remain on this side.
