Tommy and Danielle I am so sorry to hear the sad news about your Mom. Your Mom and I spent many summers growing up together at Yankee Lake and we had so much fun. One memory I have of her is when a date showed up in an old pick up truck and your grandfather walked your Mom to the truck carrying a shotgun. You had to see the look on her face.

She was a beautiful sweet girl and all of my teenage friends were in love with her.

I feel badly that I lost touch with her but she will always remain a special and happy memory to me.

I wish you both and your five children the best in this world and will let the rest of the family know of your mother's passing.

My condolences to Danielle, Thomas & Bob. So sorry to hear of Vera's passing. What I remember the most of my friend was her love for life !! Even when things were looking bad she could always pick you up with her smile & great sense of humor!! Know that her spirit of life & love will be with u guys until you meet again!! Luv & prayers

Vera's love for her family and friends was ever presant and shall be missed. We can take comfort in knowing that soon a time when tears, pain and suffering will be no more, even death will cease, according the the Holy writings. Heartfelt Condolances.

Miss Vera....I was so completely and utterly shocked and saddened to learn of your passing from Mel today. It was such a pleasure to get to work alongside you and be your friend for all these years. Your laugh was infectious and you had such a spunky spirit. You loved it when I teased you for your "accent" and for your shrinking stature in your "old age". You were a second mother, a matchmaker, and a sympathetic ear for all of those around you. I regret that we had lost touch over the past year and it is killing me right now that I have an unanswered email from you in my inbox that I somehow found myself "too busy" to respond to. I regret that now so profoundly, I struggle to find the words.

You will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
