Herb and I worked together in the 70's for several seaplane operations in Long Beach, CA. I remember most conversations always started with "I will tell you what" and that comment was always followed by a great plan or answer. He was well respected by all the crew and we especially loved his pranks. He did have a great sense of humor, no doubt about that. He will be greatly missed!

Herb was a wonderful person and a great "play" big brother. I will miss his humor, great stories and kind ways.Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope.

I'll remember working and laughing with Herb. Work ethic, self-discipline and respect for authority were taught and reinforced in his classroom. He will be missed.
