I just learned of Dr. Jacobson's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. He was my middle school principal at Kinnick Middle School in Yokohama back in 1974. I recall him telling us that at one time his office had been used as General Douglas MacArthur's HQ. The thing that I most remember about him was that "the principal is your pal."

For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones (Hebrews 6:10). Dr. Lowell will never be forgotten for all the work he did for his community and especially those precious little ones in his care. May God continue to strengthen your family in these “times hard to deal with” (2Tim 3:1), especially without a beloved one such as Dr. Lowell Jacobson.
