A number of years ago while Rich and I lived in PHX, Kenny was performing there. Because we were friends, we picked him up at the airport and he came over to ur house. It was summer so we went swimming in our pool. It came time for him to get into Drag. It was so cool to watch the transformation. We then went to where he was performing. When the show was over, we went out for dinner at Stuart Andersons and yes he was still in drag. He was quite the hit at the restaurant. A number of people knew him. It was so cool. After that we went out to a number of bars and had a great time. Kenny was a great friend and we both miss him very much. Rest in peace my friend and I hope you're singing an entertaining where you are. Big hugs buddy.

My mother raised me with your quote, "It does not matter who you love or how you love. The only thing that matters is that you love, and it doesnt matter what you are, as long as you are a good one!" Now I raise my daughter by it.

I grew up in Las Vegas and snuck into the back of the Silver Slipper show room several times with friends. Watching Kenny and Boy-lesque several times was a joy. I recalled those memories fondly when I shared "Growing up in Vegas" stories with new friends when I moved out of state. Telling my boss the story, I googled Kenny to find out about his passing. God bless him.

I was a kid, 21 years old, moved to Vegas in 1981, saw his show, loved it, very creative and unique. I now do impressions, Howard Stern, and I know how hard being an impressionist is. Never knew him personally BUT to know his show was enough. Very well done. Cheers.

Of all the years I went to Vegas for my job , I never saw your show. I almost saw you at the Plaza once, but didn't. I finally saw you a few years back @ "Copy Catz" in Palm Springs. My partner (of 31 years) and I took a dying friend to see you. You were great and we had great seats. What a great "concept" we thought for Palm Springs. I am shocked, as I just "googled" your name, and see that you're are already up there! What a great entertainer you were, and I am glad I have your CD so I can remember you for a long time.

My husband and I lived next to Kenny in Blue Anchor, NJ. He babysat our son at times and even helped paint our house. We lost touch with him but found him in Vegas many many years later and he remembered us!!! What a treat to see his wonderful show. I am sad I did not keep in contact with him. I will miss you and your preforming. May you rest in peace and God bless.

For some reason I was thinking about about Kenny Kerr today. I googled him and discovered he had passed away. My day is said. My first trip to Las Vegas many years ago I visited Kenny's show. I was so happlily entertained. Years later I took my neice and her friends for their high school graduation to see Keenny and they enjoyed it so much. Lat4er I moved to Las Vegas and went to see Kenny many more times. He was a true entertainer. I don't think he got the attention he deserved. I bet he is getting it in heaven. Playing the big room! RIP Kenny. You made me laugh and smile many times.

In addition to being an incredible entertainer, you were a wonderfully generous humanitarian! I can't even count the number of times I saw you at charitable benefits for exceptional causes. You were ALWAYS there when you were needed. I so admired your endless willigness to help others. I also admired how kind you were to strangers. You befrended others because you saw that they were good people. It was not about how much money they made, where they worked, or what they could do for you. It was about their humanity.

Thank you for making the world a better place, for being so damn entertaining and fun, for being gracious and loving, for your keen and perceptive honesty, for giving so much more than you ever took, and for being a trailblazer. It will be impossible to replace your talent, guts, and warm heart, but they live on in the thousands of people you helped, and it most definitely lives on in Vegas.

You packed so much giving in your 60 years. That makes you a giant among men. You will not be forgotten by me or the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kenny. May you reap all the joy you have sewn.

My condolences to your lovely family, friends, and loved ones.

Kenny, you were a wonderful man with a heart of gold. I remember the first time we met. It was when you worked in Atlantic City back in 1974, at The 5 O'Clock Club. My mom and sister, Victoria Mrock were going to the show. I was with my then boyfriend, now husband. I was only 16. I will never forget how you came out to the street to meet all of us with big hugs & kisses. What a character. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

I knew Kenny for nearly 30-years; he was my partner and Kenny's best friend. We lost Domenic in March 2006. Not long after, Kenny lost his partner Richie. Then one by one, more of our friends and family left us.

For almost 30 years Kenny was one of my good friends, and for the past 7 years, my closest and dearest friend. Domenic introduced me to Kenny back in the early 80s. I never forget the 1st time I met him, which was also the 1st time I had seen him perform.

It was at the Silver Slipper and boy did he surprise me. Let's just say I was the target for that show. Kenny was the best.

I soon learned that out of costume, Kenny was mild mannered and a loving family man; who was later blessed, and became a loving father to his son Kristen and not so long ago, to his grandson Alexander.

You'd think, us living so far apart people sometime drift apart, but that was not the case. I bet that over the last 30 years, I had spent at least one of every holiday or special occasion with Kenny, his sister Marlena and the family.

I spoke with Kenny often, and several times during the past few weeks before his passing.
Kenny loved to be on stage and loved people; especially his extended family. He loved to entertain us all; even right up to the end. Kenny loved to perform no matter how he was feeling - nothing stopped him from making us laugh – and sometimes until it hurt, and before you knew it, there were tears of laugher.

Kenny – I love you like family. You were there for me, and I for you when we needed each other the most.

You're finally at peace and with those who you love most; little angel (your baby girl), mom and your sister Gerry, and of course Richie, Lil-Lil and my Domenic (as you liked to say it).

You my friend were one of the best and this world was so much better off having had you in it; even if it was for just a short time.

So on this day as we remember Kenny, remember all of those happier times and let those tears of sadness remind you of all the joy and laughter Kenny brought to all of us.
In the words of Mr. Kenny Ker -- ‘It does not matter who you love or how you love. The only thing that matters is that you love, and it doesn't matter what you are, as long as you are a good one!'

May God bless you and family; rest in peace my friend.

I WAS WRONG. He was a hit from day 1. everyone loved his shows for many years, we will all miss his wonderful performances. rest in peace Kenny we all loved you.

My brother and I came to Las Vegas in 1988. He auditioned for Kenny at Boylesque. Kenny invited us to stay and watch the show after the audition. He even gave us a ride back to our hotel (the Victory Downtown) and warned us that it was a bad part of town! He also told me I should call Norbert Aleman to audition for Crazy Girls - I did, and spent 6 of the best, crazy years of my life in that show. Thank you, Kenny for your BIG heart.

So sad to hear this news. I don't keep up on local news, so just learned of this.

Boylesque was one of the best shows ever! I took my mother, her boyfriend, and my aunts and uncles to see the show. They all loved it.

Not only that...I rented a home that was owned by Kenny in 1982 and used to take the rent to his home, gave it to Roger, his manager (?), who was also in the show.

Many fond memories of you playing poker in the Slipper after the show. You commented on me being gorgeous one time...truly a complement coming from you Kenny!

I was watching the show @ Debbie Reynolds casino and Kenny came on stage and was doing his monologue and was looking around the room. He spotted a child around 10 years old in the audience, he asked the parents if they had ever seen the show. He called the child up on the stage and talked to him for a few minutes. Then he said why don't you go backstage and play with my son for awhile. He never made the child uncomfortable and I thought it was a very classy thing for him to do. After awhile after the monologue the child came out and returned to his seat. I always remember that and thought what a classy compassionate and caring person he was

In 1978 I worked as a spotlight operator for the Morris show at the silver slipper and Boylesque was the show opposite ours, I got to know Kenny really well, he was so kind and so funny and for some reason, after years of keeping in touch we just kind of lost contact. I moved back to vegas in 2005 and found that Kenny was living in palm springs, I never got back in touch with him, I regret now that I didn't just send him a note. Thanks for the great memories Kenny and I'll miss you. Our condolences to your family and friends.

I had the great fortune to work the 'BOYLESQUE' show for several years @ the Silver Slipper. I watched Kenny & his troupe perform every night...was never bored...was always entertained. Kenny was a very special kind of friend and he will be missed & remembered. R.I.P.

We came out from Indiana and saw your show at the Plaza. We were so amazed at your talent and humor, that we had to see your show many more times. Your presence will be missed terribly.
