RICHARD CASTRO Richard Lee Castro, aka "Uncle Dick," of Las Vegas, passed away July 9, 2014. He was born May 4, 1969, and was raised in Cypress, Calif. He is survived by his parents, Henry and Evangelina Castro; his sister, Veronica; his daughter, Selina Erickson; one nephew and three nieces. Uncle Dick helped many people with his dry walling and painting. He loved animals and sports, and will be greatly missed by everyone. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, July 23, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern, Las Vegas. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Richard, I miss you man. I was in Illinois for 7 weeks when you passed bro. I tried calling you here and there. Never ever ever thought you were gone. We had so many laughs at work, for years and years.
I just found out you were gone this past Oct '20. Ya, just been calling and leaving messages.

It is so hard to lose anyone, but my while my heart aches for Henry, Vangie, Veronica, Selena and all the family he left here on earth, I am sure he is in heaven with his Big Brother Henry, my nephew Billy and most importantly my Dad, who was everyone's Pop Pop on Cedar Court here in Cypress! May our Heavenly Father wrap his arms around all of you and comfort you always!!!
