If this is the Ruth Abreu that I am remembering correctly, she was my Sunday school teacher at Christ Lutheran Church in the late 1970's or early 1980's. She left quite an impression on me, very witty and honest, which is something a pre-teen/early teenager is desperately seeking. Ruth was one of my favorite Sunday school teachers! Today I am a Sunday school teacher, and I often think of her and try to wonder what she would do in the situation.
My deepest condolences for your loss and I appreciate the service that she gave to me! God Bless, Kay
