I was sorry to hear of Otto's passing, so many fond memories of us all at MNB Macomb in the 'late '70's and early '80's. Otto was a big part of that bank's success. He always had a wise crack for me, best catcher we had, came to ever game and every party afterwards (with Otto Jr.,)One of the hardest and dedicated workers we had.
He'll be missed by all. my condolences to his family.

Thanks for the great messages. My heart is broken but I am a better person after spending 18 years with Otto. He cherished all of his friends and family.
We are very sorry to hear about Otto's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

A sad & sobering piece of news. I enjoyed working with and knowing Otto during my short time at MNB. He was one of a kind.
It was with great sadness that I read of Otto's passing…
My family immigrated from Italy in 1954 and we lived across the street (Tuller) from the Wilhelm's. Otto and I had a special connection in our younger years and shared may joys and sorrows of those innocent and sometimes difficult times. I can still remember helping him "fold" newspapers, riding on his handlebars, street-ball, goin' alley pickin', playing hide n' seek in the dark, playing cards in "the tent", and hanging out at the corner party store (Frank's) where he worked (just to be near him!). My childhood is rich with wonderful, unforgettable memories of him that I will forever hold close to my heart. He had an indelible influence in my life.
Blessings to his family-

My condolences to the family. Otto was a gentle soul who always respected others. I know that he will be greatly missed by you, but he will always be held close in your hearts. Barbara Brodowski Bacarella
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of a very special man. Otto and I worked for Michigan National Bank 25+ years ago. He was always a favorite of mine and always took the time to be kind. Please except my deepest condolence. May he rest in eternal peace. Kathy Haldane
My thought and prays go out to the family . Otto was one of the best bosses someone could ever have.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of my Good Fiend Otto. My condolences and prayers are with Nancy, OJ, Melissa, Jesse and the rest of the family. Otto was one of kind....I first met Otto 30 years ago at Michigan National Bank in the Collection department. What times we had back then. Two things I will always remember is going over to Buddy's Pizza on Saturdays at the end of the month drinking beer and watching our past due customers pull up to the drive thru at the Bank to make payments. Those pitchers lasted for hours and always managed to get the best of us at times. The other one is when I told Otto the Giants were going to pop. Those who know this story I"m sure are smiling now including Otto. You forever touched my heart Otto and you will surely be missed but not forgotten. Until we meet again my friend rest in peace and save me a seat.
Sooo sorry to hear of Otto's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy, OJ, Melissa and the rest of the family. Wish I could be there to pay my respects, however, I'm still recovering from my hip fractures.
I'll always remember the good times and laughs we had working together at Michigan National and, of course, the numerous times sitting around his kitchen table playing poker and laughing about his 'special' sloppy joes recipe! Come on Otto, just one more hand of showdown! Rest in peace my friend.
