Dad-
I forgot to mention that you were the hardest working man I have ever known and all of the meals you made for us were out of love. Every time I left your house from a visit, you always gave me some veggies from the garden, or cheese our wine, or your homemade bread or whatever else, and we always appreciated it and looked forward to eating it. I love you very much and will miss all of your stories and your smiling face!
I love you dad, Ann

Your sudden and unexpected passing leaves me, Julie, and your grandchildren with very heavy hearts. I hope you knew how much we loved you. Thank you for so much. You taught me to love trust and have faith in God foremost. You taught me the value of hard work and never giving up in the face of adversity. You taught me that giving of yourself and helping others was more important than receiving. We had our differences, sometimes disagreements, sure..but who doesn't? You were very strong in your convictions and beliefs and how things should be. I may not have liked or agreed with you but more times than not you proved yourself right. I love you, I will miss you greatly and you will forever be close to me in my heart. Good-bye Dad.
