Ed was a spiritual leader and good friend from many years ago. At one time he championed me for three plant manager jobs in the late seventies and I was grateful he had so much confidence in me, but that was the kind of man he was for everyone. Always a smile and quiet nod. Macon and middle Georgia have truly lost a great asset in more ways than one. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
