Gordon, GA- Mrs. Georgia Mae Vinson McCoy passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1:30PM in Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Gordon with Rev. Larry Glover officiating. Interment will follow in Nunn Wheeler Cemetery.
The Family will be at the Funeral Home Thursday Evening from 6-8PM to receive friends.
Mrs. McCoy was a native of McIntyre, and had resided in Gordon. She was born to the late Harvey Vinson, Sr. and Essie Mae Reynolds and was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie McCoy, son Ronald McCoy and sister Elizabeth Bloodworth. She had worked for the Cleaners in Gordon, for Mixon's Store, and had retired from the State Prison System. She was a member of Gordon Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Myra McCoy of Gordon; and brother Harvey (Cathy) Vinson, Jr. of Milledgeville.
